This monument is a stone with a plaque affixed to it. It is located at the Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill. It says the following:
Dedicated to the memory of Lincoln Quappe, a New York fire fighter of Rescue two. Beloved son of our co-worker and dear friend, Heiki Quappe and her husband Charles. Died 11 September 2001 at the World Trade Center, helping his fellow man, unselfishly and with dignity. Like this oak tree, he stood tall, straight, and did not bend in the wind.
