The empty red telephone box, previously at Tavistock 2499 Grenofen, is now strapped to a pillar at 200 East Center Street while the 1930's era building is being renovated. Downtown Kingsport is undergoing an excellent revitalization, thus hope this iconic piece remains on display.

Interesting that this red booth moved from a small town in UK inside the Dartmoor National Park to a small town in northeast Tennessee near the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.

It is missing the front door - and had not been used as an actual telephone booth while in the States.
