This Tribute is to a man who dedicated his life to the town and citizens of Bogart and Oconee County.
He generated respect and honor from his community and from the individuals whose lives he touched.
He served 35 years as an educator, eight of those as County School Superintendent. He served as mayor of Bogart for 20 years and as a minister of Bogart Church of Christ for 55 years. Each day he served it could be said of him.
He did that which was right in the sight of God and man.
