The narrow path leading to the bridge roughly follows the PA/DE border westward from the from the area of the PA DE Arc Corner area (about 0.8 mi) where the White Clay Creek Preserve (PA) and White Clay Creek State Park (DE) meet. The trail stays N of a small stream until about 50 feet NE of the point where the 3 states meet. At this point, the trail crosses the small wooden footbridge, & continues SW to the boundary marker. The trail winds S then SE and up into DE where it enters private property.
