This Howitzer looks as if it could still be used. In most displays the barrels are plugged, this barrel is still open.
This is a 155mm Howitzer M114A. There is teo tags just below the barrel. The brass tag has no. 1354 Rock Island Arsenal 1943. The aluminium plate you can't read nothing in the spaces.
This Howitzer was formerly in City Park but was moved to it's new location at this veterans memorial at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
