The cornerstone says this old school was started in 1890. The date at the top of the building indicates it was finished in 1897. There is little information available for Dean High School, but the Warren County Genealogy site has a page for the school with a picture of the class of 1935. At the bottom of the page, there are a few vintage photos of the school. The roof line of the school has been changed and the front door has been closed in and converted to windows. Entrance to the building is now gained through a side door with an overhang.
