The mark is on the old railway bridge remains on the north east side of the road. It is on the south west face and is recorded as a Rivet on the OS Database. There is no sign of a Rivet any longer but possibly a slight mark in the apex of the Cut Mark may indicate where it once was as there is no top line. When it was verified in 1961 it was recorded as being 113.5868m above sea level.
