This historic mural depicts several important figures from the Maryville area. Mary Graham, whom the city is named after, sits in the upper right window. In the upper left, screenwriter Homer Croy smokes a cigarette. Standing in front of the door is Dale Carnegie, famous for writing "How to Win Friends and Influence People". Sarah Caldwell is displayed in the sign. She was a famous opera conductor. The person holding the sheep is possibly Mary Robinson, but this is not known for certain.
