With views of Pikes Peak and the front range, and passing through different exposed geological layers, and with shaded creeks, this has something for everyone. Parking is usually full in the summertime, so plan to carpool if possible. The trail is along the major highway (US 24) from Colorado Springs to all points west, near the entrance to the Pikes Peak toll road, so it's highly accessible.
