The Living Seas aquarium in Epcot was once the largest aquarium in the world. It contains 5.7 million gallons of water in a circular tank containing several thousand different species of aquatic animals. The tank is 203' in diameter and 27' deep. The main focus of the aquarium is a ride through attraction featuring characters from the movie "Nemo and Friends". At the end of the ride, guests travel through a glass tunnel within the aquarium. After disembarking, people are free to walk around the center of the three-floor aquarium to observe all the sea mammals.

At the exit from the merchandise store, attached to the aquarium, is a plaque from the American Society of Civil Engineers honoring Walt Disney Imagineering and their design of the aquarium. The posted coordinates are for the entrance to the store which will allow you to go directly into the aquarium without riding the ride. Admission to Epcot is required to visit this waymark.
