The history of these thermal sources is falling back to 27th February 1931 when unknown fisherman suddenly discovered hot water in the Rhone river. Later on people built a spa resort here. Two pumps draw hot water from 200 and 600 meters depth underground. Coming to the surface water is cooled to 36 degrees or less and fulfills indoor and outdoor pools.
