Plaque mounted on the wall of the facilities at Rest Area No. 5 on north bound I-75 in Cook Co., GA.
This plaque is dedicated to all of the Georgians who severed in WW I, WW II, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf and the Cold War. It list how many men and women from Georgia served in the war, the number, Killed in action (KIA), wounded in action (WIA) , taken prisoner (POW) and missing in action (MIA). In also provide additional information on POWs and MIAs in these wars and in the American Revolution and Civil Wars.
