This depot was built in the 1890's and was used as a depot along the Pennsylvania Railroad.
The depot was purchased by the the Simon Kenton Pathfinders in 2003, and was sold to the city of Urbana in 2005. At that time it depot underwent restoration, and then was leased back to the Pathfinders in 2006. The structure is used as a rest stop along the Simon Kenton Trail multi-use path, featuring restrooms, water, seating, and bike racks. It also features a coffeehouse as well.
