Klondike was a mining town with several buildings, and a school. Today all of that is gone. The mine entrance is easily accesable from forestry roads. This road is gated, so you will have to park at the gate and walk. It is a level walk about a mile each way. The mine entrance has been filled in with slag, but the old posts are still visible, and some old support beams are sitting around.
Mine Type: Abandoned Mine

Mineral Collecting: Not Known

Material Mined: Coal, Lignite

Operation: Underground Mine

Surface Features: No

KNOWN DANGERS:
Since the entrance has been filled in with slag there should be no issue with collapse, but if you walk to the top of the pile it may slide.
