This column type memorial is on a patch of grass on Radford Road near the corner with Engleton Road in the suburb of Radford in Coventry.

Inscription on Monument:-
"This memorial is erected to the lasting honour of those who went from Radford to serve their king and country in the Navy, Army and Air Force in the Great War 1914 – 1919. Their names appear on the tablets on the column above indicating those who gave their lives.
Presented to Radford by C Vernon Pugh Esq JR 1919"
The memorial used to stand on the other side of Engleton Road before being moved to its preset position. One of the attached photographs shows its position in 1922.
German prisoners of war based in nearby Villa Road supposedly helped in the construction of the memorial (The Coventry We Have Lost, Vol 2, D Fry & A Smith)
