The whole house is artistically painted, up to the roof, including the doors. It's done in a flat, coloring-book style, relating to the crayon-box colors. The only intricate details are painted on the side gate. Because Pacific Grove is known as "Butterfly Town, USA" there are also three-dimensional figures of Monarch butterflies attached above the flowers.
I believe the work was done by Melanie Starke, who painted and signed a mural with similar details on a restaurant nearby. The house is not signed or dated as far as I saw.
