Long Description:
The City of Firestone was incorporated October 08, 1908. To celebrate the centennial, the City placed this time capsule on October 11, 2008 to be opened in 50 years.

We were there at the dedication ceremony. Present were the mayors of Firestone, Frederick, and Dacono (the "Tri-Town" mayors), as well as many city employees, media, and members from the community.

The capsule is located at the base of the clock.
