Union Pacific 9950 was donated to the Western America Railroad Museum on March 6, 2004 by Union Pacific Railroad. The locomotive is a model EMD SD4O-2 built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division in 1980. Originally the locomotive was Missouri Pacific 3320. After the merger or Union Pacific and Missouri Pacific it was renumbered 4320 and then UP 9950, in the process it also acquired the UP yellow color.
