This annual event is held on the first Saturday in May.
Centered at the St. Joseph / St Benedict Catholic Church near the intersection of 8th Street and Vermont Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas this festival offers awesome Polish food, at reasonable prices, cooked by the ladies of the parish and served in the church basement. There are displays of Polish items, baked goods, games for the kids, a parade, which by tradition goes the wrong way up a one way street and of course - polka music.
At 4:00pm a Polish Polka Mass is held.
