This structure is hardly a house, more like a tree patio or playpen, since it has railings on all sides but no roof. Then again, no roof is needed in the always-dry weather of central California. The construction looks nice and careful, and the ladders are well placed. The tree and its house are in an empty lot, right next to the quiet street, next to what must be the family home.
