Official description: DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1935 1.8 MI NW FROM NEWMANSVILLE. 1.8 MILES NORTHWEST ALONG THE LOCUST SPRING ROAD FROM ITS JUNCTION WITH STATE HIGHWAY 93 AT NEWMANSVILLE, GREENE COUNTY, AT DOTTYS CHAPEL, 44 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD, 39 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE BUILDING, 2 FEET EAST OF A CEMETERY FENCE, AND 6 INCHES HIGHER THAN THE ROAD. A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED V 98 1935 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST.
