The Nasher Museum at Duke University is an oddly shaped building indeed, but is magnificent nonetheless.

The Nasher Museum was designed by Raphael Vinoly and consists of five rectangular pavilions meeting at a glass-enclosed atrium at odd angles.

In addition, the atrium has a 45 foot glass ceiling which also meets at odd angles. Five beams originate in each pavilion building, and then travel out to support the glass roof. They form an irregular pentagram.

The building opened in October 2005 and is open to the public.

Here's an aerial photo of the museum for a excellent view of this odd shaped building. The shots from the ground I posted do not do it justice. (And, no I did not take this picture. I found it on the Internet.)
