In 1991 the CPR donated the station to the Didsbury Lions Club who arranged for the building to be moved 180 degrees and set slightly back from the tracks. Since then it has been used as the Chamber of Commerce and Scout/Guide hall.
The move and restoration was made possible by a donation from Eldon Foote, a lawyer from Edmonton who had grown up in Didsbury.
