Located next door to the Oak Alley Plantation. The driveway was large enough to take pics. The privately owned home looked to be in fine condition, and the grounds were well landscaped and upkept. Neat little treasure I had passed and never noticed.

Bay Tree (c.1850) is a one story frame French Creole cottage which also shows the influence of the Greek Revival style. Located in St. James Parish, the house stand’s on the Mississippi's west bank and faces the historic River Road.
