The history of DEL AMO Motorsports

Del Amo Suzuki was founded in 1972 and was located on Hawthorne Blvd. and 190th St. in Torrance, CA. Del Amo Suzuki changed owners in 1985. The new owners acquired Redondo Kawasaki in 1987 and moved the Suzuki Franchise in with Kawasaki.


Del Amo Suzuki/Kawasaki's new address for the next three years was 2001 Artesia Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA.


In 1989 Del Amo purchased Harry D Foster Yamaha, In August of 1991 all three brand's were combined and moved to 1512 Aviation Blvd. Redondo Beach, CA. The store would remain there for over 10 years. In 1993 Scott King and Henry Louie purchased Del Amo and added Ducati and Seadoo to the lineup. The Aviation location was quickly outgrown.


Del Amo Motorsports Now


King Partnered up with Pablo Veglia in 2002, added KTM and moved the Store to it’s current home at 2500 Marine Ave, Redondo Beach, CA.This new location is the first SUPERSTORE in the South Bay / Los Angeles area. With 30,000 sq.feet, Veglia and King have created the most exciting, state of the art store in the greater Los Angeles area. Come check it out and see for yourself.
