This park is named after Percy Bott Ruhe, former editor of the Morning Call (a local daily newspaper). There is not sign for the park, but enclosed is a picture of the monument dedicated to Mr. Ruhe (with my GPS on top).
The park is home to numerous sporting areas - Volleyball, handball, basketball and tennis courts, baseball and football fields and a walking path. The Alton Park Comets youth association (football and baseball) is headquartered here.
