FFXCO V-1691, VA, is a Fairfax County Survey Monument (4-inch disk) located along Braddock Road about two miles southeast of Fairfax City, VA. The disk is located in the northwest angle of the intersection of Braddock Road (State Route 620) and Demby Drive. It is about 44 feet northwest of the approximate centerline of Demby Drive, 37.5 feet west-southwest of a fire hydrant, 26.67 feet northeast of the centerline of the westbound lanes of Braddock Road, 22.25 feet west-southwest of a street sign, 8.9 feet north of the outer edge of the curved curb at the intersection, and 3.5 feet north of the north edge of the sidewalk. The disk is mounted flush with the surface and stamped 69-1 NO. V-1691 1991. To reach from the intersection of Main Street (State Route 236) and State Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) in downtown Fairfax City, go southwesterly on State Route 123 (changes to Ox Road) for about 1.45 miles to the intersection with Braddock Road. Turn left and go easterly on Braddock Road for about 1.9 miles to the intersection with Demby Drive leading northeast and the disk on the left.
