Michigan Cemeteries are closed by law from dusk until dawn. The memorial is far enough from the fence, that you couldn't see it just driving by.

Marker 1 In Honor of all America Veterans This memorial honors all American Veterans who, although separated by generations, shared a common undeniable goal - to Valiantly protect our countries freedoms. The memories of these American Veterans will continue to live on whenever and wherever demorcracy exists. The American Veteran - forever a symbol of heroism, sacrifice, loyalty and freedom. Flagpole plaque: Dedicated in memory of our deceased comrades by all Monroe Veterans organizations.
