A striking metal sculpture on the roadside in Happy Valley Road, Wellington, is not only an art piece....it's a mail box!

On the surrounding hillside are a number of interesting pieces of art made from various materials including scrap metals and rocks. At the entrance to a house driveway is this letter box, a very useful sculpture beside the road in Happy Valley Park. Is it a Cat or a Pig or just a little Space critter? The arty pieces are the work of creator/artist/sculptor Carl Gifford. See his website at Carlucciland.
