A 2.8 mile round trip hike with a 600 foot elevation change. This will take you to 3 vistas, an airplane memorial and a nice hike.

Begin by parking at N42 14.133 W72 39.047

The posted coordinates are the for trailhead access.

Follow the white splotches, the Metacomet-Monadnock Trail (M-M), in a North East direction until you reach, N42 14.320 W72 38.886. Here you will follow the Orange Dot Trail to the North East until you reach the first vista, eastern view. (Picture 1, coordinates below) You will be seeing the Whiting Street Reservoir and the Connecticut river

Return to the orange trail and follow it until you reach the paved road and at N42 14.749 W72 38.572 you will find the B17 memorial.

From here, head Southwest on the paved road until you make it to about the coordinates of the second vista (coordinates below). A quick right off the trail will bring you to this great view.

Along the way, you will hit the Mount Tom Mountain Summit, the high point of 1,202 feet.

Now go back to the paved road and continue to vista 3. You will come to the tower farm, make your way around the right side of it. Continue down until you see the rocky outcrop with a great view of the area.

Finally follow the M-M trail down. This will become very steep for a short amount of time and you will finally meet up with the orange trail at N42 14.320 W72 38.886. From here, continue on the M-M trail to your car.
