Here is a link to a student-written article on the project: (visit link)

The oversized baseball was relocated from a shopping mall (owned by "Ball") which was being renovated to Kingsport's baseball complex (now known as Domtar Park). The Eagle project was to clean off the graffiti, paint the ball, and landscape the area. There is no plaque to recognize Chris's work which required 140 hours of service by other scouts and adults in his troop.

Although the coordinates are right next to the interstate, there is no direct access to Domtar park from I-26. Follow signs from Wilcox Drive/TN126 or Netherland Inn Road to Riverport Road to the only park entrance.

My family knows Chris well as his parents are in our Sunday School class. Chris is pursuing a mechanical engineering degree at Clemson University.
