Founders' Fountain was dedicated on April 11, 1968 in memory of John B. Dennis 1866-1947 who was once of the founding fathers of Kingsport, TN. And it also in memory of Glen Bruce who was a dedicated city trustee and so names the park in which the fountain resides.
Street address for the park is 414 Broad Street which is between Center and New streets. On one side is the main city library, and on the other was the electric company building, but is now being renovated into a bank.
