The disk was monumented by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in 2001, and is stamped 1U16 2002. It is in the National Geodetic Survey database at PID = DF9726 (visit link)

From the Stoplights in New Glarus, head South 1 mile on state Hwy 69 to county road H on the right. The mark is 222ft South of the center line of County H, 66ft West of the Center line of State hwy 69, & 12ft West of the center of Bike path.
