I have been in CA the last 4 days for the Nike high school basketball tournament at UCSB with my daughter's team- the Alvirne Bronco's of Hudson, NH and doing caches in between games. While driving between LA and Santa Barbara twice I saw the El Camino Bells along 101 and stopped on my final trip to the LA airport and hoped it had not already been logged. It had not so this is my contribution to the list. It is in Ventura and right along the 101 freeway- I only stopped long enough to take the pictures and did not get out of the car for a close up. The traffic was moderate but it did not seem to make sense to take any chances. Thanks for an interesting cache.
Today, nearly 5 years later I am placing this bell on the waymarking list. I can not get any better history of this particular bell from the internet.
