Straight from the heyday of bus travel along Highway 99. This neon sign is a survivor in the times of modernization. These seem to have been a West Coast sign. I have seen vintage photos of the station in Eugene with this sign but it is long gone now. These reminders of the past are quickly disappearing and this example is one of the best remaining.
Redding CA still has one in place as does Salinas.
At the
Van Buren St. bus station in Phoenix there was three of these signs on the building in the 1950's.
