This museum is dedicated to preserving Peel Region's artistic heritage.
The Gallery holds the largest public collection in Peel Region including more than 2500 paintings, prints, drawings and sculptures from noted international artists such as Andy Warhol, to Canadians Tom Thomson, Michael Snow, Joyce Weiland and Doris McCarthy, the Gallery's collection features a dynamic array of historical and contemporary works.
The gallery is located in the Peel Heritage Complex, which was a courthouse and prison from 1867 to 1973.
