Henry C. "Booty" Singleton , Sr. (1917 - 1983) was a pioneer in the seafood industry. One of the company's processing plants was located here in Key West.

This statue was placed in loving memory by his family members looking out to the sea, located at Singleton Plaza on the Marina at Key West.
