This depot was originally built to serve passengers in Milwaukie. At some point in time it was moved to Oregon City and now serves as offices for several small businesses.

After its move from Milwaukie to Oregon City, a distance of about 8 miles, the depot was rehabilitated and set up as an office building. Today it is located just a few blocks south of the new Oregon City Amtrak Station. In fact, the plan is to move the Milwaukie Depot one more time and use it to supplement the existing shelter at the Amtrak Station.
