The Tiverton Canal also known as the Great Western Canal, is open free of charge all year round, the co-ordinates were taken at the Tiverton Wharf end of the canal. The canal offers some lovely walks in the heart of the Devon countryside. The wharf has a visitor centre, shop, there is also a horsedrawn canal boat which takes visitors along the canal twice daily in the holiday season.
