6. FOURTH STREET ELEVATOR (fare five cents), W. 4th and Bluff Sts., is an incline cable car that runs to the summit of a bluff that rises more than 300 feet above the business district. The platform at the summit is arranged to give an unobstructed view north to Eagle Point Park, south to Julien Dubuque's grave, and east across the river into Illinois and Wisconsin.

It operates only seasonally from April 1 through November 30 from 8:00 A.M. - 10:00 P.M.
