This arboretum features mostly native trees. Individual trees are marked with names and displayed on a signpost. Some of the specimens have been fenced to prevent browsing by the large local deer population. The trails are gravel. There are many benches throughout this area.
The arboretum is open year-round with no admission. There is a parking for about ten vehicles immediately east of the posted coordinates. There are hundreds of other parking spaces within the reservation with many trails that lead back to the arboretum.
