The clock tower is a major landmark to residents in this large city. It is located in the centre of the Civic Centre complex. The clock tower is 302 feet up, and Prince Andrew was present when the complex opened in 1987
You can go UP this clock tower - there is a platform about halfway up which offers a panoramic view of the city. Hard to see the time from the platform though.
Posted co-ordinates are for an entrance to the complex. Head inside, then go left to the elevators. The northeast elevator is labelled "CLOCK TOWER" and will take you up to the viewing platform. Note: The observation deck is not always open for visitors, and the City seems to keep the hours a bit of a secret.
