Built in 1820, these manually operated locks provide a 2.4 meter lift/fall along the Regent's Canal in London.
Once mostly used to move goods and commodities, narrow canal boats transport visitors and houseboat residents up and down this and other parts of the English waterway system. Several of these boats are 100 years old themselves.
