The South Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh is mostly populated with students at Univ of Pittsburgh, and medical school students at UPMC (Univ of Pittsburgh Medical Center). Traditionally, the neighborhood was populated with italian immigrants from south-central italy, but slowly they are being replaced by a young urban crowd, which brings new cafes, ethnic restaurants, and bicycle shops. One side of the building is decorated with a large mural.
