The Washington Monument located on the North West end of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. It sits in the in Eakins Oval in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Monument is highlighted by an bronze statue of George Washington sitting on a horse. The work was designed by Rudolf Siemering, in 1897.
