Built in 1917 to serve railroad crews and travelers, Robert E. Lee Hotel serves as Yuma's oldest, most-haunted hotel. The inside today is much as it was in 1917. There are two floors and a total of 30 rooms, but they aren't necessarily numbered in sequence. No one knows why, but it is kept that way today, mostly out of tradition. The hotel is on the National Register of Historic Buildings and is considered haunted. Employees of the hotel tell of a woman who appears to patrons and scares them, some enough to run from their rooms and never return again. Their website is located at hotellee@ Adelphia.net. Their phone number is 928-783-6336.
