This large shrine was dedicated in 1947. It serves as a memorial to all Ohioans who lost their lives in all wars and conflicts. The memorial is constructed of stone, and houses records of all of the names. Printed books are available to look through, and hand written books containing all of the names are displayed under glass. There are also various items that were used in various wars in the display cases. Several plaques inside and out also tell the meaning of the memorial.
