Fairpoint just recently (three months ago) bought Verizon's land lines in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Most of the building still say Verizon, while the pay phones have been partially re-branded: in the closer picture, note that "Fairpoint" is on the sign at top, while "Verizon" is on the enclosure.
