The Martin Luther King, Jr. Natatorium is located in Downtown Atlanta, across from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center on Boulevard. The L-shaped pool is 25 yards one way for six lanes and 25 meters for five lanes ranging from four feet to twelve feet.

This is a public pool BUT you have to buy a Swim pass.
It's a pretty bare-bones operation. Much of the pool seems to be devoted to lap swimming with lane lines in. When I began to swim around 7:30 on a weekday morning there were only a couple of other swimmers; when I left, there was about one per lane. The water was a little too warm for energetic swimming. Not a great facility, but better than nothing.

Visitors (adult): Single-swim admission is not available to the traveling general public
Multiple swim: 20-swim passes $40.00, SC $20.00. Money order is the only form of payment accepted
Membership: Call for annual pass information.
