Thomas Edward (T. E.) Lawrence was a British soldier known mostly for his role during the Arab Revolt of 1916–1918 through his autobiography "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" and the 1962 film "Lawrence of Arabia" where he was portrayed by Peter O'Toole.
